Yeah, I am no speed shifter, but even I noticed his technique was pretty pedestrian. However, a 3.5 second time handily beat the launch control, which was really the point of the video I think. So a skilled driver can maybe hit 3.2?

It isn't that difficult to launch these cars on the street, with all the torque and the huge rear tire. Traction really isn't an issue.
