i have my new kw suspension installed. it says in the manual to preload the suspension before tightening down the bolts and how would you do that on jacks?

the nearest alignment place is a half hour drive so i dont want to risk driving with finger tight bolts.

is it possible to use a floor jack and jack up the hub and few times and then crank it up to the correct height and tighten?

would it cause alot of stress on the hub?

found solution. just placed the wheel back on and lowered the car onto a stack of wood and tightened underneath

I ended up doing one corner at a time, jacking up the car, removing wheel placing lug nuts back on the car to stop the disc from wobbling, then lowered car down so that the disc came to rest on some wooden blocks.

Sounds like you did a similar thing? I did not nave a ramp so this was the only way I could think of doing it.
