how to remove GTS stanchion?

I need to change them on both my doors, and I got a parts viper I can pull them off of....so I gotta do it 4 times

anyone got any tips on getting them in and out without damaging them? Last thing I wanna do is tear up the new ones.

I bought a service manual but tore up the house looking for it with no luck.

are the 96-98 ones different then the 99-02?

If you know a VCA member (assuming you are not one yourself), I believe their is an article about this very job in the newest Viper Magazine.

So if you can talk them into borrowing their copy of the magazine, you should be good to go.

Which year is yours? I have a 97 manual and I can look it up for you when I get home. Should be the same on all of them.

Do your old one still have the seal for driver side? I would be interested in it if you have it.

All of the Viper Magazine issues since January 2011 have had a DIY with pictures included in them. Viper Magazine is included with the VCA membership.
