thanks alot for the help. I think i will try to heat it back into place, and if that doesnt work I will try a brace thing. I just have to say I don't like those trim plates....no offence to those who have one.

If you use a heat gun to bend it back to the original shape, what happens when the Exhaust heats up and bends it back to the saggy shape? Good luck and keep us updated.

Ya, that's what I was thinking of. I want to get this done before the driving season so that's why I asked if there is a common thing to do. I think I will try the heatgun considering it gets that hot too. Wish me luck on not warping paint

I would not use a heat gun. They get hot enough to do damage. If you clamp some metal strips on temporarily like I suggested, then drive the car for a while, you'll thermoform it using the same level of heat it took to deform it.
Paint it the same color as the car. You really wont see it and you won't have to worry about it anymore. But what do I know?

Ya, thats what I was thinking too...I think I will try to form it back first, and then try the trim plate.
