I JUST TURNED 40,000 miles on my 01 rt 10. Is there anything i need to be looking for ?? So far all is great but just looking to save myself any surprises running down the road. Thanks in advance for any help.

I turned 40,000 on my 02 GTS on Friday! I was wondering the same thing, I even took photos of the odometer rolling over from 39,999-40,000 Lol, I feel like it's my kids birthday or something.....

I'm not anywhere near that mileage yet but I took pics when my car rolled over to 10k.

I hit 40k 2 months ago. Took a pic as well. The only thing you need to be looking for is.....50k!
damn, i rolled over to 20k last week. I should have snapped a pic.
oh, and I have no clue wha you should look for, but I'm going to bookmark this page, I'm going to be driving mine a lot more than a typical viper owner.

I ran into a guy that had 130K+miles on his GenII, said he had a few things he had to replace but nothing unusual.
My 2001 GTS just hit 60K. I change all fluids every spring and oil/brake fluid every month (I track it). I am constantly checking susp. components, hoses, etc just because I go to the track, and changed out the 'usual' stuff for my year when I first got it at 20k miles (steering pulley bracket, water pump, radiator cap, old street tires, etc).

You're all rookies. I have a pic of mine rolling over from 99,999 to 100,000 I'm far from the highest, but far from the garage queens among us as well 
Before anyone asks...only major problem was I was having trouble getting in reverse 2 years ago or so (it'd go all the way in gear, but grind maybe 1/3 of the time instead of actually going backwards when I came off the clutch). Replaced it with a new in box (0 mile) Gen 3 trans from Jon B.

10 years 40,000 miles thats only 4,000 miles a year. Open road here i come!!!!!!!!! Hope to see some of you this year....

I rolled over 60K in mine this weekend. It had 15K when I bought it 4+ years ago, That is a little over 11K per year since I bought it.

Agreed. Nothing too much to worry about. The manual is actually pretty good with the service intervals. At 50K is when you have a few things to get checked but again all minor things. I got to 55K without any major problems before I sold the car. Cars are pretty much bulletproof as long as they are maintained.

I like the sound of that!! Life is too short, God only knows what tomorrow will hold so drive it! At least that was my mentality.

Just rolled past 15k on my 97 GTS. I've only owned it for 2 months and have put 2k on it. Of couse half of that was driving in home to Portland from San Diego.
