But I friggin hate trying to get all this tire rubber and crap off.

3 solid hours of scrubbing and I still don't have all the rubber off:mad:

That is all. just wanted to share my pain.:)

WD40 if it's it already on the car. Sherwin Williams makes a product called Green Slime that's used for overspray masking also. If you spray the car with it, all it takes is running water to wash it all away.

Good idea's all. I appreciate it. I was using bug and tar remover, but will try some WD-40 when I wash it again later today. Mostly just on the bottom of the sills now. Was also suggested that I spray with the bug & tar stuff and let it sit a little before washing it.

Thanks Leslie, I'm going to try this at the next track day. Do you use it under your sills? The sills, for me, are the worst after a track weekend. :crazy2:

A little OT,
But I was asked at the track to post a pic of the sign my wife had made for my birthday.
Seeing as I was taking a pic of my sills I thought I'd throw them in here

I ended up using an adhesive remover. I used 3M brand a long time ago, couldnt find it locally and ended up using a NAPA brand adhesive remover. Worked well but still needed a lot of elbow grease. I feel for you.
