as the general public becomes more accepting and acustomed to seeing painted wheels, i expect the value of vipers with painted wheels to quadruple in value compared to vipers with original colored wheels. especially the red ones.

i read it on the web, so it must be true.

The car that will be worth the most will be the car "Mr.DeepPockets" wants. Its only worth the the buyer is willing to pay.

what cars will be top sellers? I think all ACR's , 2008 SSG, any 2009 made
,2002 GTS Final Editons and 1992 RT/10

If you asked about the most rare, then it would be

green because everyone hates the color
high miles because most people don't drive their car
scratched/dinged because nobody drives it daily
faded/clearcoat flaking off because most are kept out of the sun

so this describes my car! Anyone want to pay $$$ for such a rare find?

PS There are probably a few extra smiles under the seat that fell off my face from using it all the time.

I would say anything that is a one year color as well. :D Lets hear it for Sapphire Blue!! :2tu:

I agree, the Sapphire and Graphite cars which demand a higher premium now will also demand and even higher premium when the get even more rare.

Supply and demand, colors like Sapphire, Graphite, Steel Gray, Black and probably yellow which have low production numbers will be worth more.

ACR's in the right colors will be worth more.

Of course this is providing the economy ever comes back and people even buy cars again.

I would be willing to bet that it will not be a matter of what is rare now but what is well publicized in the future. Keep in mind that the buyers of the future may not be following the production of the cars now but will see a Viper in a movie or remember a friend or family member that had one when they were younger. So as with other great classics I would say that common color may rule in the future. As a younger car enthusiast my favorite classic cars are mostly those that I saw often on TV and Movies. Like the 71 yellow vert cuda with white leather in Nash Bridges, its the only Cuda I have ever seen like it but thats the one I would buy if I had the money. Or the 67 Mustang Shelby GT500 in Gone in 60 Seconds the only car I would trade my Viper for.

Sorry, low production numbers don't necessarily corrolate with value.
They have to be desirable as well, and most of the non striped colors aren't.

Most valuable is a funny thing. Kids in the future could be all turbo'd, supercharged, roid monsters and only care about power. That would mean the 08/09s are going to be the ones to have. It could also mean weird things like the 06' Coupes being in demand as a one year only coupe with the older, supercharger friendly motor? You just never know which it comes to future value.

However, common sense would dictate that the 1992 cars, the 1996 B/W GTS cars, the 1998 GT2 cars, the 2002 GTS FE cars, 2005 Copperhead verts, the 2006 B/W FE cars, the 2008 SSG cars, and the 2008/2009 ACRs will all be the cars of mass choice.

Personally the very last 25 Vipers which could potentially be built as a special edition to commemorate the 25 years of Viper will probably be the absolute most prized. In other words, they haven't built the most rare and valuable Viper yet. IMHO
