Had lots of personal stuff going on. sold the gen3 back in Feb 13. Lifes back on track and a gen4 or V in the future if I can get past my lust for the audi R8. Feels good to be back here.

The R8 is an awesome car, but to me it isn't even in the same league as a viper.

Twister,

Welcome back....heard you had a tough go of it for a while, glad things are getting back on track.
You have come back at a time where we could really use some of your wacky videos.....go buy a car asap and get to work.....and please upgrade to a Go Pro camera :eater:

Cheers,
George

Hey twister. I thought about you as I was in your area this past summer on my way out to Waianae. You still live where you did before?

Nice to have you back, someone posted a while back where is Twister?.. LOL Remember "gen4 or V" is not all that mod friendly.

Good to see you are back. I'll be moving out your way with my Gen III this coming up spring. If you don't mind I'd like to ask you about building the top end when I get there?

WOW HAWAII!!! what an amazing place!!! I live in NY and only dream about Hawaii. Have not been there in almost 20 years and it was by far the nicest place. Been through many other places in the US and Europe, Asia and Hawaii is by far my favorite.
You are a lucky guy. Must be incredible to drive your Viper for 12 months per year in that amazing weather and beauty. ENJOY!!

Twister might be able to tell you what NOT to do. He had a lot of trouble with his, as I recall.

Im outta the modding game for sure. a stock mid to low 11 sec gen4 or V will be enough for me. My buddy just got an aventador. I would love to see how a V stacks up against it.

Im from Virginia so I have a hard time with these Hawaiian words....but after 17 years in Hawaii I have to recommend ...Hauamea bay....(i think thats how you say it) ive been there a handful of times and it has to be some of the clearest blue watered snorklibg in the world. last time I was there I swam with a sea turtle for twenty minutes. absolutely stunning

Can you recommend anything too see!!!

Polynesian cultural center is a must. Stay for the Luau.

Waikiki beach, but be aware, there is a "***" section.

Perl Harbor

Punch Bowl - It's a WWII graveyard/memorial.

Haunama bay is great snorkeling. The native Hawaiians claim that place though and actually shut it down for a while. Not sure where they are at with that. Or was that sandy beach, I can't recall.

Ala Moana - Big shopping center and a park

Iolani Palace - Guided tours only. Try to catch the Royal Hawaiian Band at the Band Stand if you can. This is also where the famous statue of King Kamehameha I is located.

Bishop Museum - If you like Museums, it's a good one.

There is Sea Life Park, but it's in the middle of nowhere on the far side of Oahu.

If you want to see actual Hawaiian's, go out to Waianie or Wahiwa. Honolulu will be mostly Japanese, Philipino, and Haole. Don't go out there at night, and even in the daytime, watch where you are.

I'm here now. Love Hawaii only problem is all the parks are closed thanks to our government!!!!!!!!
