The February meeting place, date, and time HAS BEEN MOVED From our usual 2nd Saturday of the month. The February meeting has been rescheduled to Feb. 23, 2012...at NOON EST. The meeting will be held in the classroom area of Lincoln College of Technology's Collision Center located at 5022 West 79th St., Indianapolis, Indiana 46268

OF FURTHER NOTE: The Collision Center is hosting the Bi-Annual Convention & Technology Exhibition III of the Indiana Auto Body Association On Feburary 22- 23, 2013. Follow this link to the IABA site: http://www.regonline.com/builder/site/?eventid=1050491

Since the IABA function IS A SEPARATE event, our Members will need to enter this building through the door by the loading dock on the EAST side of this building so that we can have a separate function/meeting.

This IABA event is a large and interesting trade show and INTERESTED INDIVIDUALS are invited to Pre-Register for this event...either for the whole event ($25.00 ) or just for a single day ($20.00 )...see the details, directions, and FEES for this Registration at the IABA site as YOU would need to pre-pay this on your own. REMEMBER: If YOU wish to participate/visit the IABA trade show going on the same day/building as our meeting, you MUST pre-register and pre-pay.

UPDATE: I spoke with our hosts at Lincoln Tech today and they told me that there will be a Registration Booth set up at this event to accommodate those who wish to attend this IABA trade show on Saturday but who were unable to pre-register. Thus, one can "pay at the door" if you choose to attend the trade show before of after our meeting.

Weather forecast for Saturday....partly cloudy with the AM low of 24 F and the afternoon high of 34 F.

Hi, Jay. Main roads and Interstates are in good shape around Indy...with slightly decreased visibility in places due to fog/mist. My trip to Indy Airport this AM was a breeze.

While the forecast for our meeting tomorrow remains partly cloudy, low 24, high 35...BE ADVISED that there was plenty of ICE in the Indy area last night and this morning...some of which is starting to melt today. The side streets are generally still covered with ice.

The local/State DOT's used plenty of salt and sand on the roads in the past 24 hours...both of which will remain on the roads today and tomorrow.
