You know what they say...if you have to ask..? :smirk:

Sounds like you'll be checking the classifieds in 2022 just like me!

I thought there was no official word on price yet. Sounded like people at the event last night were hearing $100k for the base and $115k to $120k for the GTS. Maybe $137k is a fully loaded price including the track pack and every other option...

It's going to be different this time because alot of folks are going to want this car now (new Traction Control system, and new re-fined interior).. I see people on other car forums, GTR forums etc. Wanting to dump their car for this new Viper..

I'm a little worried about "keeping up with the demand". He he..

So true! It is actually amazing how most people on the other sites (CF, etc.) are giving it high praise and talk about getting one.

Remember, two versions! The "sort of back to basics version":2tu: may well be very reasonably priced.

I don't cover a lot of sites, but Top Gear UK commenters were Very positive on the Gen V. I still see 120k as pretty rare air for buyers, never mind north of that. So I don't know about troubles keeping up with volume. Eh, I'm on the 2022 list myself. Look for a sweet 08 on the market then!...

There are two versions a SRT which is the base model and a GTS which could be optioned up. The options are very very cool I have them posted on the web sight along with pictures and information from the press kit, its a long read of 54 pages but for those that want to know I have listed it on all of our sites.

People with other cars want one now because SRT fixed the main thing that drove people to other brands: Interior quality and more importantly ergonomics/space.

You saw? Where? I didn't see, I was told at the reveal the base SRT-10 will be 99K and that adding any one option will bring it over 100K. That being said I was also told that further pricing of options added has not been decided as of yet and wont be released for a few months.

I saw that base price is $95k + GGT and destination.

Many thanks for the postings!!!

I've been trying to get folks to slow down and consider that there are two (2) models, with lots of options. Therefore generalizations have to be made very carefully.

The $137,000 price is pure speculation, talking to our dealer guys who went to their meeting while we were in NY, no top end was quoted. Could it wind up there, no one knows at this point, but you will be able to buy all the raw performance you want at way below that point. No worries anyway as it looks like this car can be optioned like a 67 Corvette, anything yiou want and cut off the option list at any point.
