Is there an easy way to poke a wire through front firewall?

I was looking and cannot find an easy spot to go through the front firewall in Gen3? Are there any wires coming through the firewall where I can simply poke through the rubber seal to get lets say a wire into the cabin?

To the right of the brake booster is a grommet. You cannot see it from inside, but if you push a wire through you will find it on the inside.

Thanks Mark! Now if I could only know what is a brake booster and a grommet and better yet where to look for it :dunno:?
I assume it is somewhere on the driver's side? I would also think that it should be below the dashboard level so I would need to look for the entrance somewhere in the middle of the firewall on the driver's side?

The brake booster is the large round cylinder on the firewall, drivers side engine bay. To the right of it is an oval rubber "grommet" (kind of under the plastic cowl area) that will lead you into the cabin above the pedals.

Hope that helps.

Thanks Mark!!!! As always if nobody else knows you come you rescue :)!!!
I think you know what you are talking about I saw that "oval grommet" and I think some thick bunch of wires in plastic cowl are going in there. I was thinking that it goes in the cabin, but could not find it anywhere under the pedals so I disregard it. I will try and poke through it today, it will be interesting to know where in the cabin it comes out.

The grommet can be seen from inside if you are limber enough. I'd remove the kick panel to get a better look. Good advice is to disconnect battery first though so you don't accidentally fire the airbag. Paxton instructions for a Gen 3, which are available online from Paxton Automotive, show the grommet as they tell you to use it to run wires through the firewall.

Whatcha wiring to the front? Laser detector?

Ha ha, no I am not that advanced :). I am wiring front video camera. I got tired of doing guess work when I park front to the curb if I am going to hit my bumper or not. I always look like ass when I park it front to the curb as I either park it to far away or dangereosly too close. So I was wiring back up camera and at the same time for the above reasons I decided to add front camera :).
