Hello fellow Viper owners -

I'm getting ready to do my first oil change and I would like to know where is the best support location for the floor jack. Any pictures?

Thanks in advance -

Rich, yes you can jack your car up in the center but it should not be done without some wood to span and or protect the frame rails. The best way is to use the designed in jacking points. You will find four, located at the ends of the exhaust sills. On the underside of the car you will find a 1" by 4" rectangle made from quarter inch steel rod. Jack on the side opposite the plug to promote drain-out. If you raise the entire vehicle, keep it level to allow the pan to fully drain.

Thanks for the reply Bob - and thanks to your GREAT dealership and Bill Pemberton who put me behind the wheel of this RT10 last week! I'll post more about my wonderful experience buying the car from Bill under another topic later - Right now I gotta change da oil and head outa town.

Thanks again -
