No worries, I don't think he meant offense. He may have misunderstood your 100 mile get it home comment. As if you were a collector and you were going to store it after only 100 miles. I'm sure that's not what you you were trying to say.
As to how comfortable...I took delivery of my ACR 5 weeks ago and it delivers the most amazing ride of my 4 Vipers, and that is with a track setup by Woodhouse. if you're looking for comfortable this ACR suspension will outperform anything manufactured to date with this level of performance.

Thanks. It won't be sitting in the garage except in bad weather.
Gave up having a garage queen when I sold a restored classic years ago.

Hey Roc,

As Dave said, we'll be at DC performance in LA doing a club dyno day this coming Saturday, July 12 then on to Willow Springs to run with NASA in our own run group on Sunday July 13.

You are welcome to join us at either or both events if you'd like and we'd love to see your car.

Go to our local website for more info at: . : : SoCal Viper : : .

Thanks guys. I will probably make it for Saturday, but not sure on Sunday yet.

As far as long distance comfort, the seats are very comfy. The car did NOT get hot inside, and the AC blew ice cold. Other than AC, no other creature comforts are needed at all. It was very comfortable to drive the 10 hour stretches. I am getting over a back injury, and not once did my back hurt the entire trip. I can not express how perfect this car really is.

Lets sort it out and off to Willow Springs where you will truly be amazed :headbang:

I guess if I wanted smart ass replies I could have stayed on the Vette forums since I own a Z06, and yes it is my first Viper but what I was really getting at is "how uncomfortable is it" on a long trip.

Wasn't trying to be offensive. Just struck me as funny. You have my apology. Enjoy your beautiful car.

Don't worry he has a paxton on a generation 3 which means he probably has upgraded his tires, shifter, shifter knob, suspension, gears, differential ,exhaust, just to makes his viper "comfortable enough" to drive

Yepper and then some, 17,000 miles in 15 months and very comfortable. Still trying to find a place to put a cup holder. :)

You mean the cup holder isn't standard?

I'm canceling my order then. :):)

I had an 03 Viper that I sold since I have an ACR on order & I used the ASH TRAY area as a cup holder. I just removed the plastic ash tray insert & used napkins around the coffee cup to hold it. It worked great.

Was kidding about the cup holder, I learned that trick too.

Everybody uses the ash tray for a cup holder. Cup launches come standard with the ACR as do luggage shifts for anything you put in the trunk. Just kidding! It's a great car for a trip or the track or whatever. I only have one car and it's the ACR. He has to do everything and he does it all. The ACR is the best car I've ever driven, even a Lambo! As for garage queen cars, they deteriorate faster than the ones you drive. But the GQs do fetch more money when you sell them.

I think you are all full of BS when you say the viper is comfortable. I am sure your faces are hurting from the big grins you wear everytime you drive one of them. hope to know someday. congrats on the new ACR and glad to see people driving their cars.

I gotta get me an ACR just like yours Roc!! That color combo just blows my mind......I'd get pulled over every 3 minutes driving it though.

hey marc you going forsure saturday for dyno day?

As it stands right now, yes. Just call me on my cell when you are ready to roll, and I'll join you. If I don't answer, just stop by the house. I will try to call you Sat morning to confirm though.

She will only let me track it when I have the Harnesses installed. Do you think they can do that on Saturday?

Who the hell is "she"? You do not need harnesses, the 3 points are perfectly legal, don't let anyone tell you different. 5 points would be nice but not necessary! If you're talking about the SoCal Club not letting you run without 5 points they're wrong. NASA will let you run, period the end.
