Congrats on the new Viper. Looks great. Sounds like you've done your homework on some of the early upgrades. I'm in San Diego also. Some good guys down here. About 40 So. Calif guys from the Club were up at El Toro yesterday for the big Cruisin for a Cure Car Show. Let me know what area of San Diego you're in. Have a blast. Be careful the first few weeks. Everyone knows what I mean.

Congrats on such a beautiful car!
Take your time getting used to it. Time will tell which modifications would be beneficial and what type of driving/racing you will be doing. It sounds already your on the right track. The rear gear is good for snappier acceleration and makes the upper trans shifts more usable. Smooth tubes & filters are a good start and won't set you back monetarily. Door & rear speaker replacement is a wise choice and will be an added bonus.

Congrats. Great pics of your new car. The color is fantastic. Wait 'till you start taking it out at night. The car takes on a variety of colors depending on lighting. This particular color at night (sapphire blue) under direct "white light" is unreal. Congrats again.
