Hey all,
After asking questions and reading on this board for a few months I decided what year, color and model Viper I wanted.
When I had made that decision the rest was easy as all I had to do was go to the VCA classifieds and there it was, a 1999 Silver w/ Blue stripes ACR.
It was in Northern CA and I am in Charlotte NC but I decided "what the hell" I had never driven on the Pacific Coast Highway so what better way than in my all time favorite Viper.
My wife and I flew to San Francisco, picked up the car, Drove PCH
south to almost LA, then headed East back to Las Vegas where
I had the car picked up and transported back to Concord, NC.
On that entire trip I saw almost every sports car I can think of
Including many many euro exotics but did not see a another Viper.
I felt like a rock star. Every place we stopped be it scenic overlooks, Gas stations etc. people whipped out their cameras and cell phones to take pics of the car. Pretty cool.
I would like to thank some people from this forum that were a big help to me... RC VIPER, TOO MANY TOYS, SHELBY 3, AND FAST VIPER DAN There were others but these guys were never too busy to help in any way they could and I appreciated it very much!
I am attaching some pics I hope they show up properly.
