After a thorough check on the lift, I bought a nice low mileage 96 B/W I have been looking at. So far I luv it. In comparing it to my 00 which was a very nice car, the 96 seems tighter. It also seems to cruise at 60-65MPH better in 6th gear like it is not lugging. The axle ratios and gearing are the same for 96 and 00 right? I do know the wheels are 17" vs 18" so maybe this is the difference. Anyway, glad to have another one and I will post some pictures soon. It is good to be back in the saddle.

18" wheels utilize lower profile tires so overall diameter is virtually the same as your OEM 17". Stronger engine is more likely the reason for the better feel.

Congrats on newest purchase. Nice to hear some of your opinions compared to the 00. As we know, they are all great cars. I still like the look of the 18's inside the wheel well. I found a nice set of OEM Chrome 96 wheels that brightened it up a bit in there. Throw some blue in that Avatar now.......

venms96 - Stock, new Rubber and finally, some "shiny" rims.

Congrats, I also felt my 97 B/W felt tighter then my previous Viper. Then again it only has 7400 miles :D

Seems like you made a wise choice! :2tu:

Venom, I was looking at your sig, and I can't help but wonder what a 100"O" TT is? ;) (I'm cursed with noticing the little, insignificant things in life).

Well it could mean 100 x O equals all the OOOh's I get when I have the car out. Maybe it means all the horsepower I have ( 100 x 0 = O horsepower since it's a Henn. car )Or maybe the amount the car is worth $100 x O = $0.00 At any rate I'll change it, Thanks!!!

I have my b/w on the block, but the more I read you guys the more I second guess myself wanting to sell it.

Everyone first saw the coupe in a b&w paint scheme at the car shows so that's what they will always remember and maybe therefor the b&w carries some more value.. though I can confirm the reluctant feeling when thinking of selling your current car :) I still miss my first car every day, I'm now on my second car since end of august last year.
