All right, this issue has been hounded to death in the past, and yes, I searched the last few hours and have came up with differing opinions on the cut off date for a creampuff.
On searching the year to year difference on the site it states 99 has cast pistons not forged, yet some board members state 00 and newer had the forged not cast, no mention of cam change in the registry differences.
Can someone in the know post the positive year change to the "creampuff" status as I have a lead into a 1999 GTS, all searches on "creampuff" on search, a few hundred!, differ the car to 1996-1998 and 00+, seems like 1999 is left out!
Perhaps forged pistons yet with the older more aggresive cam? First year of 18", and new textured dash this I know, but plan to open up the exhaust and mod the car, and feel the "older" cam may respond a bit better......
Finally, this 1999 is Silver/Blue my first venture off my love of blue/white, what's your view? Look as aggressuve as the blue/white????
thanks for any input gang,
