L.A. Auto Show in December shows Dodge Viper "World Debut"??

Ok, can someone explain this? Why would their site show a "World Debut" for the Viper?

It states a World Preview- wouldn't make sense to just roll out a dolled up 2010

I guess they should have announced the 0% financing a few months earlier to clean out the existing inventory before this new Fiat/Ferrari/Maserati Viper gets introduced.

I know that this is wishful thinking, but is it possible that Fiat has been looking into the "Skunk Works" at Viper and may show a sneak preview of a clay model of what they plan to do for 2012? After all there have been some sketches of possible Vipers for Gen V, so who knows?

I have noticed that since Fiat took over there are actually new commercials for Chrysler products being shown on TV. Maybe, unlike Cerebus, Fiat wants to sell some cars and make a profit.

This could help hold interest in the Viper and make enough waves that for once the press will talk about something other than the Corvette.

I think thats just the stock "World Debut" pic. You're right though, it does look like a new Mustang for sure.

Ralph GIlles was quoted at the Laguna Seca event, to the effect that 'we chose to debute the 2010 Viper at Los Angeles in part because so many of the Viper nation is right here in California.' He stated that the 2010 Record "1:33" ACR, as well as the 2010 Voodoo Edition ['which reflects my Caribbean heritage'] will also debute at LA.

I also believe our first peek at TOXIC ORANGE will be LA.. Id like to see some good photos ASAP......have a decision to make!

Nothing like a turntable photo, but the Voodoo and the 1:33 ACR photos were shown in the Laguna Seca thread that Y2KGTS posted last week.......those cars were 'enroute to LA....so they popped in to Laguna Seca on the way....'
