My lighter didnt want to charge my phone, but I figured it was because my lighter plug in for the charger was sorta short.

Well, I tried to use a portable air compressor with a LONG lighter plug and it didnt work either.

I am thinking it has a blown fuse ... where is the fuse box I need to look at , and what fuse is it?

If it isnt the fuse, should I just replace the lighter receptacle?

2001 GTS.

Thanks :) ---

If the fuse is good, try and clean up the post at the bottom of the receptacle.....it can get corroded over time and a little emory-cloth will shine it up so connection is made.

Are the fuses labeled , or should I research which actual fuse it is before I get under the hood? Thanks :) ---

The fuse layout is actually inside the cover on my fusebox. Tells you exactly which one is which.

This fuse blows often.
It also controls part of the alarm system, the chime for seatbelts/door and I think high/low beam switch.

It's a 20amp, some people replace with a 25 so less likely to blow.
