Love the look! Reminds me of the Hennessey diffuser? Looks good in carbon. Definitely want to have one on my own but I can't justify spending $1k for it

EDIT: Just went on Vipair's site and didn't find the diffuser? Did they just make the piece?

I like it. I think the factory look is very boring.... unlike the rest of a Viper. Would love to see it in person though. Ever make it to Cars and Coffee?

Looks like your car is 1/2 way done taking a dump. haha. Not for me but as long as you like it then thats all that matters. I think if you painted it the same color it would look better but it looks kind of ricer to me.

Our cars are tough to photograph, IMO the viper looks killer in person, and in most photos, it looks pretty good. I agree in person I bet it looks way better. I'm sure the CF in the sun is super. So I'm on the fence, I think on a black car that would be nice even in the photos, but on red you probably have to see it in person to appreciate it. Congrats!

honestly, I would have just painted or carbon fiber wrap the portion that is red instead of the carbon fiber thing that sticks out. Otherwise I love your car.

I think thats whats going on, if you had the diffuser on a stock car it will look out of place once you see the hole car it make perfect sence hres a pic of the front with the eurotech spliter and acrX canards.

That was plan B the problem with painting it will look like any other viper, wraping it will look fake IMO. with the diffuser sets the car apart from the rest, so far the few that have seen it in person they are very surprize how good the car looks, is not just the diffuser but the complete look.

Explaining Viper things to you
Since I'm a GTS owner and am familiar with both the Autoform units for that model, I will make a comparison based on that.

In factory form your car conceals the rear aero area. An area many sports cars and certainly race cars choose to hilight. Done typically by just using black paint or bare CF or so on. The Gen 2 of course has no rear aero area. Just a shelf to collect leaves and soda cans and hold the plate.

Taking what you have in stock form and just making that area black would do the accent trick. Kind of like the small Gen 2 AF unit or as many are now doing the SRT blades on the Gen 2's. In any case, small polite changes that really don't redesign the car but do add a look that many would find appealing. Not all, but many ;)

There is also an Autoform diffuser for the Gen 2 that many have called a tractor sized farm implement looking thing. Or worse. It redesigns the rear of the car. I would put what you have done in that same category. You've redesigned the rear of the car. It's big, it's black, and it's not for every one.

I would have to see my middle version - paint the OE area black - to say that what you've done is excessive. I do like the accent approach of aero components being black. But not sure that bigger is better.

I have seen the autoform diffuser, and that thing was made for a tractor, the word big keeps on poping up but in real life is just not the case, so far all the guy that have seen it (in real life) can not belive the improvement over stock. I for one not just like it ,but love it. For some reason it makes the car look very sleek and balance with the front diffuser.

I like it. Have you considered adding carbon fiber or black side splitters?

I had a set of carbon fiber side splitters, and for some reason it detracted from the look of the car. The problem I had is that the front splitter (euroteck)did not match the side splitter sits lower than the front.

I think it would look better to just paint the stock rear black which would have highlighted it just enough IMO. The new one is a bit too large. also, what is that Hennessy logo doing on the car?

Paint was plan B but after seeing the results painting it is not an option. As for the logos They have done some motor work on the car a set of twins is on the works, but thats a different tread.
