Go over to the "other" site and PM Andy flatout. He would know the car.

Just because it's for sale in Houston doesn't mean that's where it came from. Why don't you beat it to the "other" site...

Which other site? Viper alley or VOA? I can't find that user name on either site.

the stuff is not that bad great buy if you can get parts at cost or through X builders and get it done yourself by a good mechanic. Just general stuff...you can probably negotiate better on the price

At least the are upfront and all the work would have a warranty.
Plenty of private party Vipers have some of these issues, and you will
find out after you buy. You would have a reconditioned car....

I am in the minority here....I think if you like the car, negotiate a better
price on the repairs. Are the tires good ? That is another chunk of change.
While I was looking saw plenty of private party cars that needed tires,
brake jobs, leaking valve cover and oil pan seals, door adjustments,
etc. etc. The best one I heard often: " the AC just needs a recharge"
Ya sure....then why have you not done it ?

Seems to me they thoroughly PPI 'd the car and you know up front the faults.
