Looking for 2003 Stock Radio

Just got a 2003 and getting to know it. I do not listen to the radio much, but this one has a fancy Kenwood that I want gone. Looking for a functional Chrysler unit to install. Looking around, are all the factory units pretty much the same? Will a Jeep, truck or Caravan unit fit? Is there a separate amp that may have been removed when they converted to the Kenwood?

I have had four generations of Viper so far. From memory evenly radios within the Viper generations are different at least on face.

David, the '03 Viper radio was used in many, many FCA vehicles. Go on ebay, you can buy a good used one by the truckload and cheap!!!

Got one! Supposed to be Viper, was only $75.

David, good for you As I wrote before that head unit was used in a number of FCA vehicles. Easy to find an not too costly.

Now a G1 or G2 radio, unique to Viper and getting fairly pricey used.
