I think Dan Craigan from DC performance can get your stock ones resized. Remember you stock rails can only flow so much.

but can one get a sidefed injector in the 50 lb range? I was thinking 40 or so was the limit.

I have green top and also blue top.

I forgot how many lbs they are.

They were use for aprox 6 months worked great when I took them out. I went to even larger injectors. I would want 1/2 of what they sold for new.

I think you can get them resize to any size you want, but the stock fuel rails are not big enough to handle the volume that the injectors need. I think 40lbs was the max...but I can't excatly remember. By the time you spend the money on resizing the injectors, I would just got the route of top fed injectors because of the "expandability" of your fuel system down the road if you need to go bigger.

Fuel Rails cost about $250-300

Fuel lines and fittings maybe $250-300

Injectors a set of 10 55lbs....maybe $500

Fuel Pump maybe around $250

Regulator $135

So you would be over the $1000.00 mark...but resizing the injectors will be over the $1000 mark also....check with RC.

I would personally go with the top fed for the little bit more money so you can upgrade later.

Oh by the way, you can get the bosche lime green top injectors for around $275 for 10 of them. They are rated at about 42lbs...but you can bump up the fuel pressure...but remember on a return line system when you pressurize the fuel to get more volume, you also cause the gas to heat up and it can cause vapor locking also.

Been there done that and then fixed dat!

The only thing i can see in your list that i am not sure where to purchase is the fuel rails. where does one go to get these high flow units? i think if i proceed with this project, a set of Siemens top feed 72's will fit the bill nicely in case of future upgrades.

The fuel rails, many of the tuners sell them. If you are a real do it yourselfer...you can buy the rails and weld on the fittings....have the rails drilled at the right angle of the injectors....whalla..you got rails.

wrong ab, internal rails on your manifold are 8an, they will handle 55lbs if you have enough fuel pump. Use the subaru side feed injectors (cheaper and will flow 60 lbs!)

-8 AN? First I have heard of that. I never claimed I knew the inside rail size, but looking at the stock fuel lines...I personally would not use 60lb injectors with a stock fuel system....I think you will run into delivery problems and not running a return line system.

I talked to Dave at Sean Roe's the green top injectors are rated at 55lbs at 55psi.

They are no longer aviable from them, when they did carry them they were $426.00 plus tax, it made them $455.00, plus shipping for 10 of them.

Sean has the fairest pricing and best quailty for supplying Viper parts to the Viper community.

yes I agree you need a regulator and return as well as bigger feed line. But the question was if the stock internal manifolds will flow enough fuel. Subaru WRX injectors are side feed. Mark French is doing this on his TT set up. PM him for details at www.turbotrix.com
