I dont have enough room in my garage to go the full lift height.
Recommendations on low level lift kits?

Is this one any good?

I have a 4 post in a garage that is 9.5 feet tall, even if it were eight foot ceilings I would rather have my 4 post that I could raise as far as possible rather than limit it to a couple feet. Plus a 4 post with a caster kit allows you to roll it out in the outdoors and raise to full height if needed.

Remarkable, I take it that is bolted to the floor?
Compressed air lift? Hydraulic? Mechanical?
Whose unit is it, please.

Yankee.....I've had a KwikLift for several years, many locals have used it to change theit oil and it has worked great. For limited space, but good access for most everthing:

It's a Bendpak SP-7. Hydraulically operated and uses compressed air to disengage the locks for lowering. Closed height is about 4.5 inches, but decided to recess it in the floor for a flush mount.

I have a Kwiklift as well. Works great. I'm getting ready to purchase a 4 post lift here shortly to add to the other garage opening.

Jim's is WAY nice!! Unfortunately for me, I don't have the garage for even THAT. Maybe at the next house for the next Viper.....but in a house where the garage is small, and there is no hope of changing it at all...the Kwiklift works well. NO jack stands....but you do need to be able to roll around under the car. :) A nice happy medium...and SAFE! :)

I have the Kwiqlift also and it works very well for me. I have plenty of space underneath the car to do whatever I want when raised. For a low level garage, this is a great solution.

I took a different approach to solving the problem. I have a friend that is an engineer.
