The Mag's are good wires. I would prefer them for your application.
With headers, the thicker insulation will protect the wires from extreme temps. Just make sure to keep them away from touching the header tubes. If they come in contact with the header tubes even for a few seconds it will ruin the wires and cause a misfire.

I have run magnacor 10.5's for the past 32,000 miles on my 650R and never had a problem with them. Great Wires. Don't know about the best price though. The wires aren't inexpensive. (JD)
