Guess it wouldn't be OK to track him down and hit him repeatedly with a big stick until he's unable to steal your pics to try and steal money from honest people?

I posted a Shelby Daytona with 400hp and it may have been the same loser trying to sell my car. His ad was cancellled within a few minutes after I reported the retard. Hit him hard.

Look closer... those feedback are all for cheap items, and almost the same item at that. Common scam... run up feedback on cheap stuff, and then make a big score.

Yes, but its HERE. LOL.

I know where each and every "big engine" I have built is... and there aren't any of them being sold right now. At first, I thought the pictures were pulled from my file since I *had* an almost identical build which I just transplanted into another car, but that engine was actually built for a customer in St. Louis back in 2008, and so far as I know, he still has that car. It did cross my mind that the guy could be selling it from an accident or something that I didnt hear about, but the parts list is ALL wrong, and there is no way a customer who laid out HUGE dollars for Carrillo Rods and CP Pistons would make a mistake by putting parts that cost about 1/5th on the description instead. Regardless, the engine in those pictures does NOT match the description by a long shot- there is far more on that pictured engine than what he "claims" to be selling dollar wise.

So scary. Scams are happening more & more.

We sold our Lexus recently. They took 60k miles off the odometer. Resold it saying they were us. We got served for tags & penalty fee's last week. Hated having to tell the guy that the car had over 93k miles when we sold it :(

I was going to send him a message asking some questions and where he/the engine were located. Whatever his answer was, I would have said that was close to me and I wanted to come see it in person. I love messing with scammers.

This is why it took me over a year to find a replacement nsx engine when mine blew...I had no less than 3 people try to scvam me..One guy even changed his voice from male to female when I would call the same number...

The other two only had the picture and when talking about 5k for an item I would like them to just take a few more pics or video or somthing to really let me know they have the engine....Then the excuses came ..

It's scary out there....These rare engines are PERECT for scammers..two of them said send them half the money and they would get shipping numbers ect...WOW

Actually, using your pictures without your consent is a problem as well. You need to watermark them in the future. At least it would be easier to show that they are yours.

As stated in the Library of Congress concerning copyrights "registration is not a condition of copyright
protection.". Using your work without permission is the problem. Before you can take legal action you would have to register the picture though.
