So I bought the cat back from MP and installed it today. The kit was straightforward and simple. With a trip to town to get more T40 bits (dang Torx head bolts!) it took me about 4 hours total. The hardest part was removing all the stubborn to break Torx bolts and reaching the forward 10mm nut on the side sill. Once it was all apart I removed the crossover pipes (even giggled evilly while doing it) and the stock muffler. Aligning the new pipes with the side port was easy after I realized to semi tighten the clamps to hold it but still allow me to move it in position, otherwise it would have taken ten hands. I left all the stock cats in place for now.
The clips below are before and after. I took them with my phone so the quality isn't that good but enough to hear a difference. I'm satisfied with the results. It has a deeper and slightly more aggressive tone but not obnoxious. I may play with removing the rear cats first then maybe upgrade to high flow in the front later. One step at a time.
