I understand the Viper front calipers can be moved to the rear but a bracket may be needed. Has anyone done this and if so who has this bracket. I have upgraded the fronts to brembo, and the master cylinder is also been upgraded. A portioning valve is also been added. Thanks.

This is a common vette practice, so I personally tried this back in 94, and again w/ GTS.

I agree 100% w/ Dave.......not worth the grief. In addition to serious proportioning issues, the rear toe problem under braking would be magnified by this swap.

Looking at a brake upgrade is a great idea.....but look elsewhere!

Hey Mike,

While this is certainly an option I wouldn't recommend it as the front calipers need ALOT of fluid and will throw the balance off dramatically unless you have some MONSTER calipers in the front. There are many rear kits that are available for about the same $$$ as you'll spend putting stock fronts on the rear.

Regards,
