I fear that I may have contracted this illness back in the early 90s and now it may have come out of it's dormancy and may be manifesting itself with the full symptoms of the disease...

I had a sudden and serious onset back in January and was overwhelmed with a compulsion to actually buy my first Viper. I've barely driven it 100 miles most of which I have been either pulled over or in the inspection line, cleaning it or at the gas pump and now all I can think about is getting more of them as my smiles continue to move my ears further back on my head...:yay:

Looking around this board in some of the signatures I see what appears to be an epedemic...

So who here has had more than one Vipers ? How many of what type ? Is there any hope or cure ?:dunno:

I just contracted the disease a few weeks ago when I got a VCA coupe to go with my '04 convertable. Thankfully, a lack of sufficient funds right now will prevent me from getting "re-infected" a third time.:D

I have two and a 'half' now and had another previously. The real problem is when you run out of room for full sized vipers, the addiction spreads into the house.

Been seriously thinking about buying a Gen 1 lately. Put some wheels and a Gen2 hood on it and drive it. No major mods. But I can't be trusted when it comes to mods.....

A rash of little 1/32 Vipers appeared in the very early stages back in the 90s... Recently a few more 1/32s and now a 1/18... I may have contracted something from a door handle that jumped on to my keychain as well...

I read about these people too... Certainly too far gone at this point... Obviously the advanced stages leads to the excessive Binging and Hoarding... No telling what they may be capable of :lmao:

I think there was an article in Viper Quarterly magazine about a couple that had 32 of them or so last year.

It starts with the grin from driving your first one. Then it lays dormant in your nervous system until the funds happen to be laying around. Be careful, a supportive spouse will cause this condition to run rampant through your system. There are multiple subtypes of MVS as classified by the CDC:

Type 1. "I want another gen"
Type 2. "I want one for the track and the street"
Type 3. Significant other syndrome: They are as crazy about driving it as you are so there must be 2
Type 4. This is the most dangerous by far and I can speak of it first hand due to our track weekend 2 weeks ago....the combination of 2 and 3 :omg:

Type 4 might have you looking for 3 or 4 cars :rolaugh:

Unfortunately we do need a pool this year. Or do we? :dunno:

Bought my first one Dec 09 and just went on a cruise with the SoCal club with 30 Vipers. What a blast. As soon as my Wife saw Kobis SSG ACR she was telling me, I should buy an ACR and give her the vert. :headbang: Who knows if it will happen, but got the green light from Wifey :D

I have two and I pay about a grand apiece a year for insurance, on top of my six other vehicles including a Ferrari. What the hell do you do if you have 30 of them? There has got to be a better option.

Sapphire/silver Roe Supercharged 01 GTS and trying to get my Red/silver 00 Paxton supercharged GTS ACR home still. I feel the need for modifications.

If someone has another modified Gen 2 (GTS) I'd be interested in trading an awesome 440 resto-mod Duster, a 500hp Stealth TT and maybe another Turbo dodge or two ... 1971 Dodge Demon 340 4spd project (that comes with a $12,000 400hp NEW engine and 95% of parts to finish project.
