I was contemplating a few mods to the GTS and they were pretty expensive. The HID light kits are $500+ for ones that work, a good lower fascia protector is $200+, and a bra or 3M coating would run me $300+. Well, I contacted a friend in the machining business and we finally got this baby mounted today:

Besides the obvious protection it affords, it also is mounted low enough that the steel brackets are about 1" lower than the fascia. No more driveway scrapes! I am also pushing almost 1,000,000 candlepower with the KC Daylighters. While they are not street legal, I suspect I may be using them when traffic thins out a bit. Not sure what it will do for the aerodynamics at higher speeds. I may also have a problem with weight balance on the turns, as it is about 120 pounds of stainless steel. Gotta go out and drive her around and get used to the new balance. Pretty cool, eh?
Chris
PS. And you thought you got looks before, try it with one of these jewels on the front!
