Need car appraised for Insurance

I need to get my car appraised for my insurance company. Because of all the work and money I have into the car I would like to insure it for the replacement value. My insurance agent said that I need to get it appraised in order for them to raise the replacement value and insure it for the proper amount. Any suggestions on who can do this for me? Thanks

Yea I used a Company called Auto Appraise Inc. I think the link is Auto Appraise: Certified Auto Appraisals and Inspections, Classic Car Specialists, Total Loss Evaluations and Appraisals I have an "agreed amount" based on my appraisal with AllState They accepted the apprasal and put it on file with my auto. The premium is a few $$ more a year but this way in the event of a Total or wreck we have an established value. Hope that helps
