Save about 200 bucks and look at the 1999 Jeep Cheroke caps. The pumps are identical!

I paid $27 at the local Dodge garage in 2000. Funny, a $2 gas cap off a Arctic Cat snomobile worked perfect till the the cap came in 2 days later. I learned my lesson--every time the hood is opened, I check this cap and the others. It is pretty much outrageous that this cap should cost that much. It would seem this part could easily have been standardized with other applications when the car was built.

Anyhow, I can see how that would/could have caused an engine fire....
