Yep, known each other since 98 or 99 (high school). Funny though, he didn't even care about cars in high school to the first part of college.

Tell him he's a ****** for copying me on the GT! ;) I've known him for a long time too, but not quite that long.

And whom should I say he is copying? :D I feel guilty b/c I sort of egged him on, to purchase the Z06.

BMW's are nice driving cars, my brother has had his M3 for 2.5 years (I admit I've put close to half of the miles on it) and I'm very impressed with it, and the engine is very responsive with what feels like lots of torque for everyday driving. You using your Viper as a daily driver? I am driving it as much as I can and loving it! No issues with heat in the cabin or the side sills...in fact the A/C belows a little too cold sometimes. I have yet to run into another Viper owner since I've had my car, and see Kelly Martin in his TT Viper at a meet here and there.

Jason

Its not my daily (I'm ashamed to say I have even driven the car in 2 weeks!).

Its really cold here in the NE so heat is not much of an issue BUT if I drive it in stop and go I have to turn the AC on

Crockett, or Big Carrot. He'll know either way. :2tu:

LOL, I've met you a long time ago at the 190 and Coit meet. If I recall, you got a sweet deal on a ACR a few years back, and you work at Sewell? What are you driving these days?

Congrats Jason on owning your dream.....what's your favorite part of driving the Viper?

Regards,
Aaron

I can tell you getting out of the car isn't one of them :lmao: My favorite part right now is just hearing the engine when I get on it a bit, and just enjoying the new car smell.

Hi Jason,

My personal favorite when I lift off the throttle is that deep-burbling sound that I remember as a kid hearing only racecars make.

Enjoy the ride!

Regards,
Aaron

Aaron, I love that too! The first time I started a Viper, I gave it a little gas and it popped when I lifted, and I love hearing it on my car. My bike shoots flames out on decel, and shoots a huge flame out when the autoshift kills the ignition (not fuel) for a split second, and that's always fun to watch (especially when it scares the people next to me)...now to shoot flames out of the Viper...kidding

A Gixxer turbo and a '08 SRT Coupe. You're a fortunate man!

Sign up for Viper Days and learn what that SRT will do on the track. You'll be a much better and more satisfied driver for the experience. You'll learn and do far more than you will at the SRT track experience.

Congrats - great car!

The backpressure popping and gurgling has to be my favorite too. I love when I've been driving for a while, and then I have to creep through a parking lot or something and its just pop-pop-poping and crackling as I'm rolling along.
