Hi guys...I feel like an ass for just now responding!
Ok, first things first...dont go to Kyle. I love the guy but he is new to Gen 3's and u will be experimental at best. Go to Final GTS, Dan Lesser. He is also in NY and has 100x more knowledge than Kyle...and he rivals Tator.
For good reliable dyno numbers, go to Final GTS.;)

Just caught this today, Keith-sorry!! PLEASE do not feel that way...my gosh, we LIVE for the people who CAN drive their cars and report here!!! WE may not be able to get our cars out, but it sure is lovely to read about the ones who CAN~~~! :2tu: ~juli

Welcome to the Club! I purchased a Commemorative Edition #59 last year with 900 miles on it. It's my first Viper but definately not my last. It's unbelievable to drive but a lot of fun just hanging out parked. People stop me all he time and comment on the car. I say go for it, you will definately not regret it. I paid around $63k for mine.

Best of luck!

Hi, and welcome to the club.

Any Viper you buy will be great! There was big changes between the Gen 1, Gen 2 and the Gen 3 in looks and styling. Big driveline changes between the Gen 3 and 4. They all have the V10.

Driving a Viper is great with the main driving difference being that the 06 coupe and the GTS's have storage space whereas the verts don't. Since I do all highway driving and have a wife, I bought a GTS. Plan to build a trailer for it as, of course, it's still not enough storage space for her suitcases and trinkets, lol. Driving a Viper is the greatest way to see the continent!

Kyle has come a long way and should be able to give you some good numbers now. Tator and Sean Roe have schooled him on the Gen 3's so you should be ok w/ Kyle at Romar Racing! He did not understand the VECs when I went, but I believe he has learned a lot since!:2tu:

I was very disappointed in my first two trips to Kyle b/c we spent hours tuning, and were not changing anything. That was b/c he did not have the correct info for naturally aspirated Gen 3's, but that was not his fault. He was doing the best he could w/ the info he had. I think he has a good grasp of the VEC 3's now, and Tator is just a call away to help out if necessary.

Yes, we will be going to Kyle/RomarRacing for a 'fine-tune' that we need. Kyle works with aLOT of drag-racing cars that put out more HP than a few of our Vipers combined!!! The VEC system was new to him, but he also worked with Chuck and Sean Roe as well on getting our VECII installed, and did a great job! Our thanx to all of them for their help...and we'll be back to Kyle's, in fact, glad we brought this up, as I gotta make plans now!! :2tu:~juli
