First post. YAY!

Anywho I just payed 26k for my fathers 95 with 27k on it. The car is bone stock. Being new, i didnt know what mods were good or bad. So Im wondering what mods are the best for this year? All I can seem to find is mods for the newer years.

As for mod prices, I was shocked to see the prices. $100 for silicon hoses that I have a box of. Needless to say my c5 friends laughed at me when we were looking. Being use to vr4 and ls1 prices these just seem super high for what you get.

So im in need of help. The new viper is currnely the slowest car besides my DD that I own. Yet it has the biggest motor. It needs more power. 368whp just aint enough.

Thanks

Well, the 1st question you have to ask yourself is,"What are my intentions for this car? Is it going to be just street driven/tracked/or a combo of the two? Once you answer these questions, then you can began to mod your car according to your intentions for your snake. Good Luck!

If you are shocked over a set of $100 hoses, you probably should leave it stock or put a nitrous kit on it. You ain't gonna like the prices on any of the other performance parts. :usa:

Figure out how much you have to spend on Mods 1st and then decide which route to go. By your post, it would seem you want more power.

If you only have a couple grand to mod with, then you should do the basics for a GEN I. Exaust, tubes/filters, VEC 2, and Vipair, and sync the TBs.
If you have a little more Headers would add alot.

If you have $8-$10k, then get the Roe SC when it's avail.

Yeah, once you get started it gets even more expensive. Leave it stock and enjoy the car the way it is or be prepared to work overtime.

you can prob gain 40-50 hp w/ a complete header to tip exhaust and an addtional 9-14 on the smooth tubes and K & N's. my guess is after that your hp starts to get expensive.

decide how mouch you want to spend and decide what the car will be used for.

waaay to many mods to list so those two things have to be addressed first to steer you in the right direction.

IMO; complete exhaust kit, 3:55 gears, tubes/filters, energy suspension kit, eiboch kit, vec2, alum FW, fluidyne rad/180 thermo, lineloc, and a nitrous setup. if you spin your own wrench, youll get away with this stuff for under 10K and have some killer performance, seat of pants, poser and handling improvements all together. a little bit of everything

Well if you're covered on the $100 smooth tubes with your "box-o-hoses" maybe you might have some of the other mod parts you didn't know you had and save even more cashola! LOL!!!!!
