New owner question

Hi guys!! I'm finally a Viper owner!!! I picked up a 97 GTS today.. Well I already have a question.. Is there a way to take off the clear driving light covers so I can clean behind them??

Congradulations on your new GTS...I picked up mine on Saturday.....also a 97, Blue and white...Sorry I can't help you on your Question!!!!!

The shop manual will tell you how to do it. Be
very careful as the three mounting tabs break
off very easily. You will need a pop-cicle stick
to do it. There is a sequence to follow for both
removal and installation.

Every time I wash my car, water gets behind those lenses so that I have to remove them to dry the area. As the others have said, there are three tabs which become easier to remove every time.

I've priced new ones in case I accidentally break one......$57.

my 96 gts always had the crud behind them.
now with my 2000 rt there are none to wory about.i wonder if the aerodynamics are worse or better with them on?
