We have a new video page ... content - courtesy of Steve O'Neill ...It is under construction but has some nice content so far ... your thoughts. wavcavideo
Great Idea for people like me that want to check out some of the tracks and events ahead of time.
I was able to easily watch the You tube videos, but the other ones which directed me to Dix were more difficult. I wound up downloading it to My Videos and then playing it. Unfortunately I am not a **** with computers, so perhaps I did something wrong. I was able to watch the 2nd session video that Steve provided and was able to enjoy some more laps at the Portland Track. (Nice driving Steve) It refreshed my training from my class there and will be a great aid when I preview it prior to when I return there.
Thanks for this new feature. I will be looking forward to all the other videos which are currently under construction.
Please let me know if there are any shortcuts to viewing the videos withut downloading and using Dix.
Thanks Rich! We're working on it. When Michael said under construction, he wasn't kidding! We're working on pages and content formats, and all kinds of stuff.
Keep looking, as it's going to change. Keep giving feedback, because we need it!
I played around with the videos today and after I downloaded vlc media player I was able to get the videos to run with sound etc. What a great setup. I can spend time previewing the tracks before I show up and hopefully learn them a lot faster.
Keep up the hard work. You have a great idea. I will stay tuned as the new items come on line. Thanks
1)If you got to that page via a search, the "Back to Home" link is way down at the bottom. Maybe imbed a link to the WAVCA logo at top? And what's with all of the dots? logo is clean on our home page.
2) Ditch the subheadings under "track Days", "Parades", etc. They link to the same page as the headings anyway, and that first page will become enormous as more are added.
The dots were like a background layout of some kind. You fixed it, so I can't take a screen shot of what I saw. If you change it back to the smaller size and the dots reappear, I'll let you know. Thanks.
