Hi all,The Orlando Sentinel 6/2702..Headline reads..Dodge planning to introduce a kinder, gentler Viper for 2003... Yet another Viper bashing in the papers!!! Article reads, But although the 2003 Viper is striking, It seems watered down,as if government, or at least Tipper Gore, intervened.The 2003 Viper is Dodges version of the Corvette. The Corvette is a wonderful car, but we already have a Corvette. Now, both cars play polo and wear letter jackets...If you all want this whole article posted let me know.. I will get my wife to do it !! I am a 1 finger typer!!!...AL...00PROWLER...

Saw it coming. The critics blasted the rawness of the Gen I and IIs. Now their blasting the refineness of the Gen III? It's a no win situation with critics. No matter to me. I bought the original because of (1)488 cid, (2)450 hp and (3)striking-dropdead-gorgeous-unique looks.

I never cared what the critics thought. However, it seems that the designers of the Gen III did.

I'm not really attracted to the looks of the SRT-10 either, but it is lighter with more HP and torque... what's wrong with that? I could care less what the media says... most of them just wish they could acutally own one.
