Congratulations on that beauty. And a heads up if you are planning to strip the paint off the wing. Call Prefix first, I had a conversation with them about doing this on my 08. When the wing is painted they use a different carbon fiber, same weight and strength but it is not the beautiful cross check pattern we all know and love, the pattern only runs one way and according to them is not very pretty in raw form.

No, not planning on stripping the wing.
What happened was by some unusual circumstance the car arrived with a painted wing like the dual stripe cars have not the exposed CF with drivers stripe.
I preferred the exposed CF as most centerband cars have.
So a new CF wing is being sent as replacement.
The tricky part is getting the proper tools to remove the security fasteners.

I spoke to Prefix about the proper tools and even they can't get/supply them.

There is a thread on here somewhere that Harbor Freight sells it. I love the clear carbon look I wanted mine to come that way but didnt have the choice. I always wanted a car no paint just carbon
