OEM Head Bolts to ARP Pro Series Cylinder Head Stud Kits

I bought a set from Summit for my 93 RT/10 but these are totally different from the original bolts. The bolts seem to be 9/16 and longer. The studs are 1/2 inch and shorter. Thet are listed as 247-4201 for 91-93 Dodge Viper. Has anyone gone through this?

No one produces head studs for a Gen I .They need to be custom made!Those are Gen 2's!

It's the same part number that you have pictured 247-4201. GenII only!

For anyone who has used the Gen 2 stud kit, were there any issues in installation and why did you go in that direction?

Customer Service at Summit got back to me. I have to fill a return form and send it back to them. It was around $300, let's see how much it takes to get the credit back. Thanks for shedding some light.

Summit (and others) sell quite a few items that CLAIM to fit cross-generation Vipers. ("The Book Says" the kiddies reply.) Sometime its the manufacturer's fault, others just data entry at the vendor.

With Viper and Porsche especially THE YEAR MATTERS!
