Enthusiast
I posted, shortly after I brought home my "new to me " Viper, " Am I the only one that likes their Viper just the way ma' Mopar made it? "
I just finished my fourth mod to the car in just a short while. None of these are earth shattering, but they all seemed necessary.
*First: Skip shift delete. I have done this on all three of my previous Vipers.
*Second: Exhaust tips. I made these myself, polished aluminum, and they make a huge difference.
*Third: Lowering spacers. These only lowered the car about 3/4 inch bit it is just enough.
* Fourth: (The biggest one so far) Hard top.
This hardtop came from a member here named Patrick, he frequents these forums and I am sorry, I forgot his name on here. He sent me a PM when I had posted a question about anyone owning one of these tops. We agreed on a price and I sent him the money. He was very up front and honest. The factory paint on this top was horrible. There was fiberglass texture showing through, fisheyes, and dirt, But the color was wrong and I was going to need to paint it anyway.
I'd like to publicly thank Patrick for the excellent job he did crating the top and shipping it. There are many many first class members on these forums.
Anyway, here is a picture (horrible cell phone pic) Still snow outside so this is in the garage with bad lights. The paint does match perfect now.
From the back. Still have the temp tags, weather has been too bad to go to get it done.
