Has anyone with a 2001 ACR had a chance to find/test the different shock settings to find the best for street and track.

I heard that the shocks and srings on the 2001s from Dynamic Suspension are a significany upgrade from the previous ACRs with Konis. Any truth to that?

Thanks!

Stay close to Paul Mumford out on the west coast, he should give you some good input on the new Dynamic shock settings. They are very different from the Koni, using remote reservoirs etc. The shop manual covers the adjustment procedure and offers some tips on settings. Paul is the man who finds the fast set-up for a particular track. I think Willow is his fave. For roughing in, set rebound near the middle to slightly firm, jounce a bit less but near middle in front and reduce slightly more yet for rear. Another way is to keep backing off to soft until the car feels floaty, then go one click back. For anyone with Koni's( ACR of course), check the Viper Mag spring 99 article written by Gene Martindale (Viper Team guy.
