It has only ever locked the rear wheels on any car ever made with one. Unless you have an AWD car, then all 4 will be locked (more or less).

I have never looked at the workings of the cable from under the car....sometimes when the lever is pulled up I can tell the cable has slipped off something....it doesn't tighten up. Pull it a few times and it "catches". Its annoying but not the end of the world. Is the fix easy or difficult? It seems like it might just be a matter of getting the cable running in the right pulley or something.

There's a tab or something that would hold the end of the cable housing that provides resistance against the caliper end so the cable will actuate the caliper and clamp the rotor. Im better the cable has stretched just enough that it falls out of the tab/bracket/socket and makes it loose till you force it to catch.

Note, im saying this from general knowledge, not actual Viper knowledge, so im trying to be general.

Thanks Talon, next time its on the lift I'll check that out.
