Hey Folks,

Anyone know of any decent hydrolic roller lifters that are used in the viper, so we can run higher spring pressure then stock and not have the lifters collaps? I am talking about enough to get a decent increase over stock, lets say anything from the 130-140 LBS seat pressure range ? The stock ones are probably good for up to 120 or so. Not an expert, just what I hear.

So I really want to be able to take my port and polished heads up to 140 lbs seat pressure for "boosted" use, but stock lifters will bleed down/collapse on me at higher RPM use with that high of a seat pressure.

I found crower cams makes a 66326 one just for the viper, but dont know if its anything better then stock. Any ideas ?? Any other options ?? That dont cost an arm and a leg ??

Try giving David McIntosh a call over at McIntosh performance. He did my headwork...and My springs have 195 on the seat and 520 open.

He should be able to tell you what to get. 678-513-4500.

Regards,

Wow, thats a lotta seat pressure. BUT you are running SOLID cam, so your lifter isnt gonna do me a damn bit of good. I will call David, but unless he does hydrolic roller upgrades, he might not be able to say.

since HEFFNER PERFORMANCE SPONSORS THIS SECTION, COULDNT OLD JASON KICK DOWN SOME LIFTER INFORMATION ?? :-D

Heffner has found a hyd. lifter that suppresses pump up much better than the stock ones - ph 410 766 2800.

The stock lifters **** once you go to a bigger cam or add boost and rpm past 5500rpm.

Thanks a bunch on the Heffner hint !!

I just called him, he was out of stock but expects to have more on the shelf in a day or two !!

So I'll be buying some as soon as he gets them in !!

Thanks again Toquemonster, AND Jason Heffner !!
