Great v10......look what you did. Have me thinking of building a frame, bigger engine, and dropping the body on. When I drive my gen 3 Viper the plastic wheels bend to the sides. This gives me ideas on how to solve it. And a 10-15 HP gasser should help with the lack of pickup.
I have to say that I never got into the modding power wheels but my brother-inlaw did with my nephews. With both my kids in college now I often reflect on when they were 6 and 3 riding their PW Jeep Wrangler around the neighborhood while I tooled along on my mountain bike with them as some of my fondest memories of them growing up.
Thanks... I was going for the whole cool dad thing!!!
Actually it does have the dark grey rims!
And BTW it is a 16v (instead of 6v or 12V), has LED headlights and it has a fm radio with aux input. I couldn't help myself.
i bought the black one from target for my 18 month old. i noticed it has a 550 class electric motor in it like my RC cars... hmm. 1500kv RC car motor with ESC hooked to a reciever on 18v SLA battery... all he has to do is hold on and steer if he can't reach the pedals!
i have noticed that there is a 16v version for $288 and a 6v version for $120-$180. I got mine on sale for $120. the 6v goes 2.5 mph supposedly but i have no problem adding a higher voltage battery and speed control later
