Of all the Vipers that have come out. These ACR verts. will hold their value the best and increase in valuae the quickest and most, over time.

Now Matt, if Dodge wants to call it an ACR Roadster we izzz gonna let them --- after all what a cool company to do something this radical!!!!

With the roll bar it should be legal to run in alot of track events , like Viper Days, other Club events, NASA, etc. Don't think he wants to run it door to door, if that was what you were suggesting?

Have seen your car a couple of times around town. Would love to see it in person some time.

EDIT...after making my post I went to the Dodge site and see that they call it a roadster. I stand corrected.

That is still a bad as* car!

(I still believe the original definition of "roadster" was for a vehicle with removeable top and curtains. Not a folding top and roll up windows.) Then again, with a car like that....why quibble?

GTS-R is going to be the benchmark to beat.

Time will tell Voodoo, but there were only 20 of these built and 100 GTSRs. Both should stand tall , but two GTSRs went in the 80s recently , and both were low mileage ( 87K at Barrett-Jackson for a 1200 mile car ).

Thanks everyone! It was a nice day yesterday, so I actually got it out after its long winter's nap for a bit and caught up with the photographer for these. Way to make these last bits of winter go a little faster!

No, they're the same non-functional hoops as the rest of the Roadsters. I'm looking at replacing them with real ones for racing.

No matter what temptation I would resist racing a ACR Roadster.

With only 20 made on the last year of the gen4 production it is a very rare car. For instance, Ferrari made 38 FXX's.

You can track dozens of modified cars and have a great time...
allot tougher to replace and not "wear out" an all original.

Well, now that the tough part is over and you own a very limited great drivers car dont the decisions just get easier...lol

Hide the Women and Children ! Pure Evil:2tu:

Awesome picture, captures the feeling appropriately :)

Devastating beautiful. Too bad you can't park it in a better neighborhood.

Hope this is a joke :) The building is the Reynolds Art Building on the University of Kentucky's campus, chosen specifically as the backdrop for its character. Can you see the Mario and Luigi mosaics on it?

Note to self...stay OFF the sidewalks in your hood!! Sweet looking Viper!!

Wow look at the damage you did to that kerb!!!! :omg: Hope your wheels are OK :D

Good to see you keeping death off the road and driving on the Sidewalk :rolaugh:

No sidewalk is safe when I'm looking for a parking spot... or just needing to get around traffic!!

Looks ominous, as if daring: 'stay the F outta my alley'

HEY! I thot you have the matching CF Chipguards?

No, I don't have any mods done yet except the driver seat has the 2" lowering kit (visible if you compare the left/right shots and see how high the headrest comes relative to the roll hoops). I'm working on selling my modded Challenger, and if that sells for what I'm asking, I'll have some $$ freed up, I'll let you know my wishlist.. :)

Love it!! Awesome car!! Hope to see you at one of the In/KY meetings sometime. We have several Vipers going up to Mid-Ohio at the beginning of May for a 3 day event and would love to have you! :2tu:

Yes, I'm a bad VCA member, haven't been to a meeting yet but as weekend obligations clear up (I have 2 kids in elementary school) then I plan to make it up to some meets. Would love to go to Mid-Ohio!

Car looks good:2tu:. I'm curious though, when you say racing, what form, as a vert is not legal for sanctioned racing.

Unsanctioned, as Bill Pemberton pointed out, just lapping on road courses to get the feel of it. If I can get it to pass a tech inspection to get it on the course, that's all I care about.

I'll make a prediction here.

Never buy a car for an investment, but considering some of my investments lately, this might be the better bet!

Please PM me if you plan on selling it!

Will do. The wife is still "learning to love it" shall we say, and if I don't free up a garage space soon by selling one of my other toys, the Viper may not make it to 2012.

Mine? Are you in Kentucky?

Again, didn't buy it as an investment or because it's rare... I had the full range of options of cars to buy from the Vooodoo to a regular ol' SRT-10, and I chose this one because it clicked with me the most. It's not a daily driver, but in the few warm days last year after I got it in September, it saw 2200 miles. It gets the same treatment as my other cars -- driven hard and put away wet!

Thanks for the replies, compliments, and thoughts, everyone!

If the Gen V's are the knockout some have predicted ALL the Gen IV's could be yesterdays news.
Let's see what Dodge steps up with next year.

Guess I need to update my profile sometime. I live just outside Lexington down Harrodsburg Rd. I believe I just saw you last week driving on the Circle. I am not brave enough to take mine out yet with all the salt still on the roads.
