Great pics but why in the world would you cover your wheels and tires at a show when surrounded by other Vipers? 
I thought I was a fanatic but that red and white stripped GTS under a red tent with the covers over the wheels takes fanaticism to new heights. Was this GTS something extraordinary?
Just my .02. I'm still shaking my head and wondering if the owner kept a leaf blower handy to blow dust off every time someone walked by.

Actually that Viper is a drag and autocross car. He uses those covers to keep the sun off of the tires. I guess it works, he won his class.

The sun heats up the tires on one side so air pressure increases unevenly. So you cover them up to keep them air pressure equal on both sides.

Me and Dion already talked about a caravan for next year. This year was way last minute. I called Dion about 3pm on Thursday and he said he was going. I figured may as well see if I could get Friday off and to my surprise, I did. I headed for Atlanta at 7pm and left for Ohio at 5am on Friday. Was at ******* in Ohio by 7pm
