Hello All,

I just received a phone call from Ward (Cudaman) Reasoner that some scumbag broke into his race trailer and walked off with a set of Unitrax HD Halfshafts, his spare transmission and few other odds and ends. FYI, he resides in the Bradenton/Sarasota area. Thanks!

Ward/Larry,

I talked to all the boys from N. Florida Black Flag Racing Group, if it shows up on ebay, we'll buy it, then go personally pick it up, if you know what I mean.

We'll let the Black Snake, PetSnake do the repo.

Thanks, guys! If we were to follow the Middle Eastern policy of removing digits, people may refrain from stealing quite possibly.

From the feeling I get, if our fellow Viper brethren catch up with them they will wish they only got the Middle Eastern policy  :D :D

Thankyou Larry Macedo for making the post.

Thanks everyone for helping me look for the stolen parts ....

I will post tomorrow the serial number of the transmission.

The H/D 1/2 shafts are brand new( back ups).... but Devin and Jerry of Unitrax are aware of the theift are watching for them. They never will be able to be serviced because they have serial #s.

I makes me feel sick that there is **** bags like this in the world..... I would personally love to find them and deal with myself!!!!!

Sheriff is also taking it very seriously because of the amount of the theft.

Ward Reasoner..... Cudaman :usa:

These are what they look like, although the gold at the ends of the 1/2 shafts did not show well in this photo.

The other thing to look for would be sellers location in FL, GA, AL...something closer by.

The sad thing about these types of things are that the chances of someone just stumbling on to these parts in a trailer and deciding to steal them is slim. The trend would seem to be someone cudaman knew or he told about it, did it or tiped someone else off about it and they did the theft.

Did this happen while you were in Hawaii? Unfortunately any thief reading this forum on 4/25/04 would have known you were far away on vacation. Everyone should be careful what you post on here. BTW , If some of your expensive parts on or off of your car don't have serial numbers on them, put some kind of identifying mark(s) on them in a hidden place if possible. That way they can be distinguished from any other part like it should a stolen item appear on eBay later.

The serial number of the transmission is 1B3ER69E9WV401296

This number is also reported to Mantee County Sheriff Department as a stolen Viper transmission.

Speaking of stolen parts. I'm missing a Performance PCM for 98 & newer cars(basically a 96 PCM I believe).

Is there anyway of tracking those?
