Is the GEN II car? If it is it's a upgrade. GEN II's came with a plastic PS pulley that is prone to cracking and the metal pulley is a upgrade/replacement. I have the Daves Big brakes one on my 01 GTS.

I have the roeracing metal pwr str pulley. I also have the billet pwt str pump bracket after the stock cast one broke in my driveway (lucky). The plastic pulley blew apart while driving past a mechanic's house out in the boondocks. He just happened to be home and have the correct pulley puller I needed to pul the busted hub from the pump. We threw together the parts needed to make a tool to push the new (luckily I had it in the car) pulley onto the shaft.

The plastic pulley is thick while the steel pulley is only a few hundreds of an inch thick.
