i know the owner,he is a local, and the car is spectacular. he has been absolutely fanatical while building that car. i also have a feeling that the car will end up being sold at a big loss to him. it is one very special car!

Yeah, when I saw that auction last night, I was thinking WOW, $90K for a GTSR! And then I saw it was a replica but no doubt, that is one beautiful Viper that I wouldn't mind putting in my garage. I'm sure someone is going to be very happy aquiring that.

That is Jeff (ProRacers) car--as you know, Baz, having posted threads regarding this awesome vehicle several times before.
For those who haven't been following, it was for sale on ebay a while ago and the high bid was 71K. I had thought it sold off ebay to another club member, but perhaps not or he flipped it to the dealer. Looks like a lot of love went into that baby.

Holy cow...that is a sweet looking Viper. I'd never drive it around town though...I'd keep it as an art piece.

Very nice looking car. I was surprised to see a set of subwoofers in there, it looks like a pure race set up besides that. where or who sells the front and rear diffusers for the viper? It adds a lot to the look IMO.
Virtually all the body parts for this replica are from Autoform. There were 10 officially built Daytonas, and some of the parts came from that model, as well as other items they ( Autoform ) initially built for Vipers competing in Viper Days. Nice repro for the street, but surprised our old buddy from Great Britain isn't showing photos of Stephen Kingshot's tricked out Daytona - now there is a car that rocks Jolly Olde England!

the daytona replicas were built buy another dealer(not sure how many built), the LeMans replicas were built by Hillsdale Dodge in Michigan(i think only two built). Jeff(ProRacer) then has taken the car to new level having custom (one off pieces) commisioned by Autoform, then replicating the sticker package from the acutal LeMans winning car. Just going by what i know and have heard about the car, my guess is that if the sales price ends up at $90k, his is still getting only around half of what he has put into it!
